What is "The Bridge"?

The Bridge to The Building Trades is an intensive, hands-on 10-week program designed to fast track adults into stable, high-paying careers in the construction industry. We bridge the gap between wanting a better career and actually having the skills, certifications and union connections to secure one. 

Best of all? There is absolutely zero cost to the student. Thanks to our dedicated community sponsors and partners, your tuition, training materials and safety gear are covered!

The 10-Week Career Roadmap

Weeks 1-3

Introduction to the industry - history, vocabulary, tool identification and safety.

Weeks 4-6

Dive in to the details!  How does everything work together? Examples and hands-on practice.

Weeks 7-10

Mastering construction math, blueprint reading and earning essential credentials.

The Program Capstone

Graduation ceremony and networking with local contractors and unions. Supportive services to jumpstart your career.
